Review 14: Sabaton, Heroes

HEROES: (May 16, 2014 on Nuclear Blast) Seventh album from power metal band: Sabaton; after their first short split which followed the album Carolus Rex.

Sabaton shows once again their talent in the not so original but still effective opus. Faithful to their treating themes of the great wars of the 20th century, they take us into martial and powerful atmosphere with titles such as "Resist And Bite," "Far From The Frame" or "To Hell And Back", recounting the trauma post war.

In short: an effective and satisfying album without really trying to innovate, but are there really need to innovate when the current recipe is more than appreciated?

STORY: Sabaton is one of only band of Power / Heavy to sing with a deep voice and husky.
